April 2013 Report
Dear Friends,
I want to thank you all again for your continued prayers and
financial support. It means more to us
than you know!
We continue to keep busy in our ministry to Micronesian
islanders. We have many youth now
attending our Bible studies for which I am very glad. Many are growing in the Lord and showing it
by their questions and life. I concluded
my study of Philippians and Juanita is now giving a study of James. I will follow that up with my study in 1
& 2 Corinthians. There is still talk
of having me go to Chuuk to speak at the Pastor’s Conference there this summer,
at which I would plan to speak on, among other topics, the Biblical
qualifications to be an overseer in the Church.
Please be in prayer for this opportunity and for the Evangelical Church Of Chuuk. Unless I get financial
help from the ECC, the mission or elsewhere I would not be able to afford the
airfare to go. I continue to work on DVD
projects. My latest offering is a
two-part series called “Testing Music in the Church”. I will be working on two more subjects as
soon as my video computer gets fixed. Please
pray that I will be able to get that back soon and afford the repairs.
We have had unseasonably cold weather this year for many months. It has actually been down in the upper 50's, believe it or not, a number of times. I'm sure many ofyou have also experienced this "global cooling" :)
Juanita continues her ministry of visitation. We have had a number of people sick with the
flu and further complications such as bronchitis and pneumonia. We also have some folks who were
faithful attendees of our studies who are now confined to home due to various debilitating
physical problems.
Rose has just started again back to school after two weeks
off for Spring break. Pray for her that
she will be effective in teaching her kids in the ways of Jesus Christ. It is always a mission field as there are always some parents who are not believers.
Carissa and Ocean are doing well. Ocean is now standing walking many steps and seems to love
it. Fudge continues to administrate a
church preschool.
Ocean & "Opa"
Cassie and “Trey” (Harold) seem to be doing well. They have moved in with Joe’s parents as they
have been having financial difficulties.
Josiah is back from the mission and living with us. He is looking for work and hopes to possibly
go with Carissa and Fudge to California to visit Cassie this summer. Pray that he will continue to grow in the
Lord.
We continue to live on the edge financially and appreciate
your continued support. If you know of
anyone who would like to support this ministry you can have them send support
in our name to:
Liebenzell Mission USA
P.O. Box 66
Schooley’s Mt., NJ 07870
May the Lord richly bless you are you continue to stay faithful to Him till the end.

February 2013 News
Dear
Friends & Supporters,
I hope
all of you are having a good 2013 so far!
I want to thank you for your continued support of this ministry. It means a lot to us. We continue to need your prayers and support.
A lot
has been going on at the beginning of this year.
Cassie & Harold
My daughter Cassie had a baby boy on 1/22/13 at
6:50 a.m. at 8 lbs., 20 inches who they named Harold Joseph Hulbert III. She was trying to have a home birth but due
to some complications ended up having it in the hospital. Recently she had to go back in the hospital
due to back pain. Please keep her in your prayers as her
physical health seems to be a continuing difficulty for her.
Josiah & Ocean
Josiah
has been volunteering at Liebenzell Mission USA and is due back this
month. They have appreciated his help
there. He is trying to make plans to go to
the Liebenzeller Mission in Bad Liebenzell, Germany later this year. I think it would be a good experience for him
and he hopes to learn more German while he is there. Pray that he will be able to raise the money
needed for a plane ticket when the time comes.
Ocean in her car seat
I have
been teaching through Philippians which will have 10 lessons. Our Bible study folks have expressed that
they really are appreciating the study. I
also have plans to produce some DVDs called “Testing Music In The Churches”
which will be a 3-part series.
Please
keep a number of our Bible study folks in prayer. Seagull, who is a Bethania Alumnus and Queen
of Kwajalein in the Marshalls, has been dealing with a lot lately. Her husband, Morrison, went in recently for
bypass surgery and is recuperating.
Meanwhile her nephew who is the son of the recently deceased King of the
Marshalls has had to go into the hospital also with heart problems. The son of a pastor, who until he became
infirmed, was a regular Bible study attendee, got himself into some trouble by
driving under the influence of alcohol.
He has now been sentenced to spend some time in prison. He has since been regularly attending our
Bible studies and told us that he really is blessed by the studies right
now. Pray that he will stay close to the
Lord through this situation. Another
pastor who has been attending our studies for awhile has two sons and both are
now facing possible prison sentences for various situations. The problem with the low income housing areas
where many of our Micronesian islanders live is the high crime rate and youth
delinquency issues. They are hard places
to raise kids for all of them. Please
pray that he will be able to help his sons.
We
appreciate your prayers for our finances.
It is always a continuing issue for us.
2 Corinthians 9:12 This service that you perform is
not only supplying the needs of the Lord’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God.
In His hands,
Sandy Simpson & family
